Adlib was once again chosen to provide a complete audio visual solution for the 2018 International Business Festival at Exhibition Centre Liverpool.
Taking place throughout June 2018, this is the third IBF event that Adlib has supplied AV for and the 2018 brief included full technical infrastructure for the wide range of event spaces.
Each event space needed to be completely flexible in terms of being able to accommodate a range of different styles of event and specific presentation requirements. With multiple events taking place simultaneously in one open space, tight control of audio was vital to ensure that the sound didn’t “spill” outside of each event area.
Adlib supplied equipment and technicians across the main conference, the Knowledge Hub stage, the Next Generation zone and the lounge and entrance areas.
The main conference stage included a 6 metre wide Absen A3 LED video wall supplied from Adlib's LED video wall rental inventory, with playback from one of Adlib’s custom QLab / PlaybackPro systems supported by Panasonic remote controlled cameras. Audio was delivered by a flown Coda ViRAY system with Coda TiRAY delays and a DiGiCo SD9 mixing console for control. Adlib also supplied lighting, with 12 generic profiles used to light the stage and 8 Clay Paky Axcor Profile 900 LED moving lights for effects.
The Knowledge Hub featured a Panasonic PT-RZ970 projector with an ultra-short throw lens, rear projecting onto a Stumpfl screen. ARRI 300 Plus and 650 Plus fresnels on flag stands brought a TV studio style to the space with a K-array Python speaker system selected for its discrete appearance and sonic clarity.
In The Next Generation, Adlib supplied 55” TVs and an Adlib AA81 audio system for presentations and music playback.
The Connections Lounge and entrance corridor also hosted smaller presentation areas that required background music and some simple moving lights that could be tweaked to suit the use of the space at the time.
Delegates were welcomed to the event by a 10 metre wide, 3 metre high curved LED video wall built from Unilumin UpadIIIH5 LED screen panels.
Adlib supplied rigging, motors, trussing, lighting, PA and technicians to live event and experiential specialists Innovision for their “Britain is Great” stand in the expo section of the venue.
