In June 2024, Adlib had the pleasure of supporting Evanescence on their European festival tour, which included electrifying performances in Sölvesborg, Milan, Madrid, and Lisbon. The collaboration brought a distinctive visual spectacle to the stage, utilising an innovative lighting and video floor package that extended the band’s energy and stage presence. The result was not just a show, but an experience that left their fans thoroughly satisfied.

The challenge? Designing a system that could seamlessly roll on and off stage at festivals while accommodating a significant amount of equipment. Adlib rose to the occasion, creating a setup that included rolling risers fixed with an array of strobes and LED fixtures.

Key equipment supplied by Adlib, as specified by the band’s Lighting Designer Nate Cromwell, included 72x GLP JDC1 Hybrid Strobes, 18x Martin MAC Aura XB Fixtures, 4x SGM P-6 units, 10x Ayrton Perseos, and 36x ACME Lighting Gemini lights sourced from Soundbox in Canada.

To control the lighting rig, Adlib provided 2x grandMA3 full-size consoles, primary and backup, an LX Fibre Control System, and 12x ROE Visual BQ4.6 LED panels with Helios Processing.

The star of the show were the ACME Lighting Gemini fixtures, specially requested by the Evanescence team. These dynamic lights were essential to creating the mesmerising visual effects that complemented the band's performance. Adlib mounted the Gemini fixtures onto the dollies, ensuring a seamless integration into the overall setup.
