"The guys are an absolute delight to work with; knowledgeable, polite, understanding and willing to explain the technical detail in layman’s terms. The final installation has greatly enhanced the usability of our new home."
- Brian Williams, Bethel Church
Our team of church AV installers was asked to design and install an audio/visual system into the rooms of Beth Church's new building including:
The brief for both main rooms was to provide a clear definition sound system for spoken word, capable of full sound for live performances. The system also needed to allow for multiple audio sources in each room. Along with the audio we were asked to provide an AV solution.
In the worship area, five full range loudspeakers were deployed as part of the new church sound system installation. The main core of the system is a pair of AA121 12” loudspeakers in left and right positions with a pair of AA81 8” delay loudspeakers towards the rear quarters of the room. A single AA81 8inch loudspeaker was introduced as a centre fill predominantly for reinforcement of spoken word.
The small meeting room features two AA61 full range loudspeakers.
All loudspeakers were positioned to direct sound only where required. This helped to minimise unwanted sound reflections and reverberation within each room.
Loop systems were introduced in both spaces to support church visitors with impaired hearing. Phased loop arrays minimised interference problems between adjacent spaces.
We were able to reuse much of the church's existing AV equipment including their cameras and vision mixer. We installed a large retractable projection screen and projector in the main worship room with 42" LCD displays being installed in the creche and foyer areas.
Along with the screens, we installed a Kramer video matrix to route the camera, PowerPoint and DVD to both rooms.
A flexible, upgraded audio visual system that met all of the requirements whilst blending into the church seamlessly.
Careful design of the system meant that the amount of temporary cabling on show at each event was minimised and, aware of the church's pristine decor, Adlib's engineers installed white loudspeakers and supporting brackets that blended into the room aesthetic.
